NZTR contracted VAWA to help deliver their annual animal welfare forum in both 2022 and 2023.
In 2022, we took the opportunity to talk about sentience, the Five Domains, and introduce Welfare Worms. We also helped update their 2022 Thoroughbred Welfare Strategy.

In 2023, we built on the 2022 forum and introduced some conundrums about animal welfare and how it relates to social licence to operate.
